You Should Be Into… Third Draw Down.

A museum of Art Souvenirs, is how they describe themselves, I say this because it is hard to say exactly what it is they do. They were established in 2003 as a publishing company based in Melbourne, but essentially Third Draw Down has grown to be a collaborator with known and unknown artists alike in producing limited edition textiles, objects, stationary items in the function of a unique development agency to produce and market exclusive objects of great quality and originality. With clients like the MoMa and the Tate Modern, internationally and local hot spots like WORLD or Artikel in NZ, no wonder you too should be into them.

They have their own small store-slash-gallery space (the actor slash model of the retail world) on George St in Fitzroy, which is more than worth having a look at if in the Melbournian vicinity, however if you are not, be all touch-type-crazy and pop onto their website and buy something… anything… this…

bedspreads

A David Shrigley Bedspread? Or this…

crayon rings

Crayon Rings? Or this…

playstation soap

Playstation Soap? Or this…

honest pillows

Honest pillows?

Or many other things that reek of clever cool, and in my case when you are forced to buy cool and clever Third Draw Down has it in abundance, so much so that you should be into it.
