Is everybody forgetting how close we came just over 12 months ago to snatching victory from these Iti’s? 4-3 in the confederations cup. The All Whites have a lot more self belief this time round and with the Italian stars Buffon and Pirlo out we are more than a legitimate chance
4) Fanatical Supporters – “the white fever”
Can any other international sporting side make claim to their most loyal supporters being named after an illness? I think not.
New Zealand supporters are blindly passionate and ridiculously over the top.
I have personally “witnessed” 6 grown men screaming in hi pitched voices, skipping around the lounge exchanging embraces at an All White equaliser resulting in a mere draw with Slovakia….. who knows what type of celebrations could be expected from a victory…
