Nameless face #12
She’s got a face and a squawky sounding voice that you may have painted in your memory. Have a look at her:
Surely you remember he from “Roseanne”???!!!
Now you’re with me? Well she has been making people chuckle since the early 80′s, when she kicked off her TV comedy career with “Saturday Night Live”…
But she doesn’t just sit funny, she nudged my intrigue bone when I was watching “Leaving Las Vegas” last night, she was Elizabeth Shue’s landlady. But that’s not he only bit of drama she has shown up in. Have a look at “Desperately Seeking Susan” with Madonna, “Stop-Loss”, “Scream 2″, Oliver Stones “JFK” and “U-Turn”, so yeah she can be a bit serious…
But mainly she makes us laugh, not unlike Rosie’s outfit…
You would know her from… the hilarious “Uncle Buck”…
… and the equally hilarious “Bulworth”, “Runaway Bride”, “Fun with Dick and Jane”, “Beer League”, “Georgia Rule” surely you saw that one with Jane Fonda!
Yes, laugh it up my fair lady, but most probably the mot famous thing she is know for is the voice of Andy’s Mum in the “Toystory” trilogy…
But after “SNL” her TV career has been long and comprehensive, just have a look at this: “The Equaliser”, “Kind of the Hill”, “Dharma and Greg”, “3rd Rock from the Sun”, “Norm”, “Malcolm in the Middle”, Without a Trace”, “Fraiser”, “Monk”, “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Desperate Housewives”, “The Big Bang Theory” and recently “Easy Money”.
I understand if none of this rings a bell and all you can remember is her interjecting in between Goodman and Roseanne, because that would make sense given “Roseanne” was one of the greats one of the all-time big hits of sitcom humour!
So look at her face again…
OK, if that freaks you out, look at her with some slightly more famous funny guys…
