A big congratulations to Wellington band manager and lawyer James Mason, who has been announced the winner of the R&V Protégé competition. After impressing the judges with his music and legal experience and knowledge, James (or Mace) came in top of the musical festival’s search for the ultimate understudy. James will now get to work alongside the R&V team at the upcoming Gisborne event and learn the ins and outs of putting on a music festival. Lucky boy!!!! As part of the Artist Liaison team, he will get to work with a number of the 40-odd artists in the line-up, which includes headliners NERD, Justice and Chromeo, Shihad, The Naked and Famous, Hollie Smith and P Money.
