Ooh golly gosh we wouldn't want to let our life-blood slip toward those infinite maudlin impenitences of the Serfly Class. They know not what they've done, but still, alack! We might be called by fate cast forth upon them and proclam 'Thou Shalt Not consider thy own Community Interests before you clear it through "attractive markets"'. And again, ALACK! if they do not comply, who knows, the plebians silly little ways might drive us into a, dare i say it, (conventional and proven) progressive mixed-market-economy.

I beg of you there sirs and madams, listen not to this swaddled babe of all that is mass-media-maniacally dull and irrelevant crapola! Regurgitation does not stink until it wallows for a while. Lets us, lets watch it wallow together.

What does a 'free market mean'? fuck all to the ideologues who push these policies (abroad, not in texas, or london,or perth). America has more trade restrictions than any other developed country. Whence does terrorism come from? Don't we all know this basic banality. Doesn't it strike you as strange (its servile is what is it) how the Casual Dope brushes over this point so hastily. "Attractive markets"?! Pah! Markets made by forceful entry into destitute and backward regions.

One must question the integrity of a journalist who simply reproduces such a heady book virtually verbatim. The book serves servitude with generalisations, and we all know about generalisations. They're weak. What then, is the selling point of the diatribe? Its selling point is that it strikes a chord with VALUES. It is like reading a Tom Clancy novel: because it fulfils predetermined assumptions or narrative desires, it sells. What are the VALUES then? Re-read the article carefully I say. But to begin with, how about a disdain for or fear of the poor (not u and me, we're respectable and have sound morals). I get worried when i read the paper some times? But, I thought that trade begets wealth, and that more consumers and producers ultimately means jackpot? Wait. shit, actually, might I not be one of the silly ones to drive policy and treasury into the ground? not poor old me, the average working shleb. ME?!?

So anyway, Once pon a time the posse that is the Church blatantly and flagrantly had a monopoly on the the means of communication.I ask you, did that have a result on the contents of the minds of everbody under its gaze? Today a similar but much more pernicious (for its sneakiness) scourge is upon us. 5 corporations own %90+ of all the worlds mainstream media. Luckily we have alternative media like Master Mouse! Its truly choice. But we must recognise the sway mainstream media still has on societies structure. The fourth estate is under control - and with its own consumptive drives that feed on fear, homogeneity, and the status quo. Do we keep tabs on the sources of ALL our convictions? "What I tell you three times is true" - Lewis Carroll.

Thank you and good night.

Casual Truth please read some Noam Chomsky, it is your civic duty as a pedagogue.

Francois Pienaar is inspired though this would be Alan Tracy rather than John. (Alan's much more annoying; John just had issues.) Either way, less wooden than Matt Damon.
